We headed to Vegas this past weekend for a high school friend's wedding. It was a great road trip - 1200 mi round trip. We saw some neat things, including an airplane graveyard in Mojave, a dog on the back of a motorcycle, a desert exit named Zzyzx, a blimp, a clown broken down on the side of the road, and a car fire that set most of the onramp ablaze.
Amanda had never been on "the strip" so we made sure to see the fountains at the Bellagio.
Jennifer and Mark's wedding was perfect. It was on Lake Las Vegas, just outside of town at a resort. It had touches of Buffalo, including Hot Wing popcorn and of course, Labatts Blue.
A beautiful wedding, with old and new friends - a long but great trip!
