Christmas Eve Ride

What a nice day for a ride! It rained a whole heck of a lot yesterday (previous post), which made for some awesome looking waterfalls up the trails today.  It's supposed to rain on Christmas, so I figured I'd get a ride in today.

I got some great pics looking back into San Anselmo from just beyond the lower part of Eldridge trail, up Mt. Tamalpais.

Then on my ride down, I stopped to grab a few pics from the dam at Bon Tempe.  On the way back out, I saw a Mountain Lion!  I was probably about 40-50 yards away, and figured that was as close as I was going to get.  We just stared at each other for a few minutes, and I was on my way...
