Yesterday our friends Ed and Janelle threw us a surprise baby shower. We were supposed to be having a BBQ at their house (Ed makes fantastic smoked ribs), but when we walked up to the door the first person I saw was our friend Donna. I couldn't figure out how she knew Ed and Janelle and why she was there.
Needless to say I was confused for a moment or two until I saw everyone else. Chris was in on it, and I'm blaming it on "baby brain" as to why I didn't pick up on any of the clues that it was happening, but I had no idea and was completely surprised.
Great company, yummy food and fun games! Thanks guys, it was so nice and thoughtful of you and it completely made my day!
