Arc de Triomphe

We started our day by finding a small coin operated laundry to do some wash. We were so proficient in our comprehension of French, we described the machine operation to some other tourists. We were able to test our conversational skills by buying some laundry soap from a small shop down the street (at least I think it was soap).

Amanda guarded our clothes and I foraged for some cafe and pain au chocolate.

Along the way, we spotted a few Audi Q3's, the little sister to our Q5. They're not available in the US yet. Cute!

After we dropped off our clean clothes, we started on a rather long day of walking with a visit to the Arc de Triomphe, and walking around. Amazing architecture and relief work. Amanda is doing a great job modeling her handbag.

Next was a walk to the Eiffel Tower!
