We got up at 6am CET to catch an 11am flight from Rome to DC, but that flight was delayed by almost 4 hours!
We just arrived in DC and got 2 of the last 3 seats on a flight to SFO (after missing our booked flight), unbelievably only delaying our hopeful arrival by 2.5 hours. Other folks on our Rome flight are spending the night in DC, after not getting seats to SFO -- we are lucky!
All in all, I figure it will be about a 26 or 27 hour day, from pillow to pillow. ;)
We have more pictures and panoramas we couldn't upload yet (in need of some speedy WiFi), but check back over the next day or so, as we'll post them!
